Catalina Island: snorkeling at its best
Isla Catalina, just off La Romana, is famous for two world-class snorkel sites: 'The Wall' (a coral drop-off teeming with reef fish) and 'The Aquarium' (a shallow reef perfect for first-timers).
Unlike Saona, Catalina is a smaller island with a quieter, calmer beach — ideal if you prefer fewer crowds and more time underwater.
Isla Catalina vs Isla Saona: cuál elegir
